The African Food and Culture Festival is a multi-cultural event that showcase the best of African culture and food. It’s the most flavorful event to hit Kern County. This event will be held at Kern County Fairgrounds – located at 1142 South P Street on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 from 2:00PM to 8:00 PM. It will be a memory to remember!
Our vision is to bring people together to enjoy the best African food in town and to promote African Culture! Proceeds will benefit African Association of Kern County (non-profits organization). We can’t do it without your support! We need your support.
The 1st African Food and Culture Festival is guaranteed to bring hungry food fans ready to sample flavors from African countries. Ghana is trying to compete with Nigeria Jolof rice. Cameroon said they cook better; ever Sierra Leone said they are the best cook. We will let you decide!!!
This first annual African Food and Culture Festival will consist of live music, food, poetry, culture booths food, beer samples, and tons of market vendors!!!!
